This policy explains what personal information OrivaPlanet ([Registered business name]) collects and how we use it.

What we collect

• Parent and student names, class, school, city, mobile number and email, when you book a demo or register for QURIOS.
• Teacher applications: contact details, qualifications, experience and the resume you upload.
• Payment status and Razorpay payment reference. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay, not by us.

How we use it

To contact you about the demo class or Olympiad, send payment links, exam logins and results, run classes, and answer your questions. We do not sell your information.

Where it is stored

Data is stored on Google Firebase (Google Cloud) servers and processed by Razorpay for payments, with access limited to authorised OrivaPlanet staff.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and applications are kept for up to 2 years; student and payment records as long as required by law.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information by writing to alok@orivaplanet.com.

Children's data

Our students are under 18, so we collect a student's information only with the consent of a parent or guardian, who books the class or registration for the student. We use it only to teach, assess and report on the student's learning and for the QURIOS Olympiad. We do not track children across other websites, build advertising profiles of them or show them targeted advertising.

Consent and your rights

We process personal data on the basis of your consent, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can withdraw consent at any time; we will then stop processing and delete the data unless the law requires us to keep it. You have the right to see a summary of the data we hold, to correct or complete it, to have it erased, to nominate another person to exercise these rights, and to have your complaints addressed.

Cookies and local storage

The website stores a few settings in your browser, such as whether you stayed signed in, text size and sound preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.

Security and breaches

Access to personal data is limited to authorised staff and protected by the security of our service providers. If a personal data breach happens, we will inform affected parents and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
